Having gathered initial information on my target audience, I organized the data into useful, functional structures in order to best apply my findings. This made it easier to prioritize features and functionalities of the proposed app.


 

Design Principles

Encourage community by supporting local businesses, getting to know vendors, and improvement of social networks within the area.

Promote improved nutrition by providing access to local, affordable markets that sell high-nutrient produce, which may also lead to a wider acceptance and higher intake.

Create a seamless, easy to navigate experience from app to market, with clear information provided, messaging capabilities, and without negative commenting potential.

Provide information about in-season and local produce, as well as blogs and recipes about nutrition and well-being.
